What to expect at your first visit.

Welcome to our office. We look forward to becoming your partner in assessing and improving your health.

Your first visit will be at least an hour long evaluation of your medical history. It is critically important that the Medical Intake Form be completed and returned prior to your first visit to maximize your visit. Dr. Rula will review your information before hand to prepare for the visit. During your first appointment, you will have a detailed conversation about your state of health, family history, diet and lifestyle habits.  Dr. Rula  will also perform a basic physical exam. We will then discuss the options available and any further laboratory testing that may be recommended.  Dr. Rula Will make some initial recommendations at this visit, however, most advice will be deferred until your test results are back and Dr. Rula has been able to thoughtfully review your case.

The second visit will be in 1-2 weeks where there will be a detailed discussion about your results and findings.  At that time, a personalized care plan will be presented reviewing recommendations for supplementation with vitamins, herbs minerals, acupuncture, dietary changes and lifestyle recommendations. We will give you a written care plan with a copy of all your test results. A follow up visit will be recommended in 4-8 weeks to review progress and make any adjustments.

Any future visit will depend upon your health condition. We will mutually determine the optimal timing for future care, physicals, screeing labs and reassessment of the care plan.

Financial Policy:

• Payment is expected at time of service with check, credit card or cash payment.
• We are not contracted with any insurance plans except Medicare.
• We will provide you with a super bill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
